You have the option of displaying transaction taxes within an invoice. For example, this invoice has a 10% Goods and Service Tax (GST) displayed:

To enable taxes on invoice, simply add a new Global setting called "Invoice Show Taxes" and set the value to "true". Of course, you can set the value to "false" or delete the global setting to remove the tax view from the invoices. The Global Setting appears as follows:
