Studioware 2.0 Business Portal

The Studioware Business Portal allows your students and families to "self-serve".  Not only can students enroll in classes and make online electronic payments (more on ePayments in a future email), the Business Portal is actually a full website that can be customized with new content, pages, images, links, footers, staff profiles, contact-us pages, blog pages, photo galleries, and more.  To view your Business Portal, log onto Studioware and select Administration | Business Portal.

Getting Started:

The most common use of the Business Portal is to display a list of classes that are available for online enrollment and allow students to enroll in classes.  After signing up with the free trial of Studioware, we automatically created a number of pages on your Business Portal that you can customize, including:

• Home Page: The home page introduces the Business Portal
• Our Studio: Allows you to describe your business facilities
• Classes: The list of classes that are available for online enrollment
• FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions page
• Our Policies: A list of your policies and procedures (such as dress codes)
• Contact Us: Your business address, phone number, and email address.
• Register/Sign-In: Students/Families must register or sign-in to enroll in classes or make payments.

Any of these pages can be modified or deleted.

Enrolling in a Class:

When a student browses your Business Portal, they are able to select a class they are interested in, and click on "View Schedule".  The class content you have created will be displayed to the students:

The student will view the description of the class, and look at the class dates, time, and location.  Next, they will click on the "Enroll" button.  If a student has previously enrolled in a class, they can login with their username/password, otherwise, the student will be prompted to register:

After registering (or logging on), the tuition information for the class will be displayed.  The student will click on the "Enroll" button, and the enrollment will be processed.  The student will receive an enrollment confirmation email.  Your Studioware administrators will also receive an enrollment email confirmation too. In addition, Studioware contains a "Notification" section that displays all the events that have occurred on the Business Portal:
